All rates are double occupancy, per night and are subject to change without notice. A major credit card is required to secure your stay. A deposit equal to half of your booking, plus the full charge for any packages, gifts or extras will be charged at the time of booking. The balance of your stay is charged 10-14 days prior to your arrival. Double-occupancy is two persons maximum, regardless of age.
Check In / Check Out
Check in is from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Please let us know if you plan to arrive after 6:00pm. Check out is by 11:00am.
Minimum stay requirements vary, but a two or three night minimum stay is usually required on weekends as well as on holidays, during special events and during all of foliage season. Please feel free to call to inquire about your specific travel requests as we can often accommodate single nights.
Because of our small size, cancellations and no-shows affect us significantly. For this reason, cancellations generally must be made at least ten days prior to the date of arrival by EMAIL, to avoid forfeiture of your deposit. All cancellations are subject to a $25 charge; this fee is waived if you reschedule your stay at the time of cancellation, for a later date.
If a guest does not arrive and honor their reservation, or contact us BY EMAIL to cancel, they will be charged for the full amount of the stay.
Our home is truly not appropriate for very young children, as it is furnished with antiques, and has many staircases and wooden floors. Also, many of our guests are looking for a quiet getaway, and have gone to great lengths to find alternate care for their own children. Should you be traveling with children, please know we do not provide a children’s menu, and our occupancy limits us to 2 occupants per room, regardless of age. The Cottage Suite and Cottage Room are good choices to reserve together for families traveling together, as are the Willow and the Robin’s Nest.
We are sorry to say that we cannot accept pets of any kind at the inn, mostly because we have outdoor working cats and other farm animals. This is their home, and we don’t feel the stress from outside unknown animals is kind to our resident pets. Please don’t ask us to be unkind to the animals in our care, by requesting an exception.
We are a completely non-smoking property, inside and out. If evidence of smoking is found in your room, cleaning charges of $300 will billed to your credit card. Please note this includes e-cigarettes.
We serve a fixed two course gourmet breakfast in the morning, usually between 8 and 9:30 am. If your plans will require an earlier breakfast, please let us know in advance – coffee is, of course, available much earlier (Cynthia – your chef – needs it to get going just like you!) and Starbucks Via coffee is available 24/7. We are happy to prepare our delicious breakfast for those not staying at our inn. We require advance notice and charge $15 per breakfast.
Lost and Found
Items left behind at the inn can be sent to you via mail at your request. The cost of shipping + a $5 handling and packaging fee (rounded to the next whole dollar) will be billed to your credit card.
